Foreword
This program can be used, to convert preserved IR - code of the IR - module in a keyboard - display form.
Installation of IR-2-serial
Before you tune in the computer, stick the module in a COM-Port of your choice. If you want to insert an
extension, need a serial cable 1: 1. An in addition tension provision is not necessary.
Installation of IR-2-usb
Before you tune in the computer, connect the module over an A/B-cable with an USB-port.
Please install an USB-driver then.
Software-Configuration
Tune in the computer and start you MS - DOS. You/They can use as well the DOS - box of Windows.
Now your computer must only learn the remote control functions.
You start dosir2pc with this command:
- Start dosir2pc with entering "dosir2pc" and your COM-port number
- enter "1" for starting learning Mode.
At first start recognizes dosir2pc the IR - hardware. You enter now the keys of your remote control;
herewith you are supported by the program. After completion the learning phase are stored all comers keys
in the file "ir2pc.dat". It is an ASCII - file, which can call up you under MS - DOS along with „type
ir2pc.dat“. You can change any time the here deposited code.
Working with dosir2pc
After the learning phase start you first “dosir2pc.exe“ and then the application, which want to serve you remote.
Note
Dosir2pc is a so-called TSR- program, which does not lose after completion the data. Press a key on your
remote control; You see then the deposited keys on your screen!
Start the application, along with which you want to work remote. Press the Remote - button, so that the
application becomes active.
40 different keys can store the maximum Keys-Memory. You can increase this frame, if you in the
source text the line:
